Our Mission:

Rave of Ravens mission is the enhance Denver’s cultural life through celebrations and themed events, highlighting local talent in a diverse, and inclusive environment. We are Denver’s 501 (c)(7) membership association dedicated to putting on immersive and collaborative experiences for our members and guests.

Who are our Members:

Our members are people who enjoy social occasions where one can escape the boredom of everyday life by joining a community and art collective that highlights art, costumes, face and body paintings, music, set design and dance performances.

All members must sign an agreement that they will follow all bylaws created by the membership association.

What we do:

We host ten costume parties a year at different locations through out the Denver Metro area, with different themes every time. We donate 25% of our door net proceeds to worthy non profit that supports the issues that our members values align with. .

Become a member

Who can become a Member of Rave of Ravens.

Any individual age 21 or older who supports the mission of Rave of Ravens and agrees to the terms below for membership.  

Members of Rave of Ravens are expected to respect and celebrate the unique backgrounds of all individuals, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or ability.

Expected to Encourage a spirit of artistic expression, imagination, and costume design.

Must understand that everybody has the right to make choices about their own bodies and boundaries and to have those choices respected without coercion or pressure.

Respect all artwork by not touching it or climbing on it, unless the artwork clearly states that that is okay. 

Should do their part to keep the spaces as clean as possible by placing all trash in receptacles.

Membership application process.

Membership application must be completed at least one week prior to the next upcoming event

Membership fees must be paid while submitting application. The membership fee includes a background check, any person with a sexual assault charge or physical assault charge will be denied membership and their membership fee will be returned minus the cost of the background check.

Member Responsibilities

  • Maintain information up to date with Association

  • Abide by the Association’s code of Conduct

  • Promote and uphold the Associations Mission

  • Stay Current on Annual Dues

Code of conduct

Members agree to:

  • Be in Costume at all events

  • Respect the space that you are in

  • Respect all members and staff

  • Respect all Members boundaries

  • Make sure all you guest abide by our bylaws

  • Enjoy yourselves

Promote and uphold the mission

Ways to promote:Be in Costume at all events

☐ Introduce organization to new supporters or partners

Suspension or termination of membership.

Members may be suspended for nonpayment of dues or behavior inconsistent with the organization’s values.

Members will be terminated for sexual harassment or any physical altercation with other members, their guests or staff. If a member is terminated for any of these reasons, the Association will retain the membership fees. Members nay also be terminated for gross behaviour inconsistent with the organization’s values.

Written notice will be provided, to the email in the Associations records.

Member can submit an appeal to the suspension or termination within a 14-day appeal period. A final determinationwill be done within a 14 day period after the the appeal is submit by the member.
